Privacy

This is a static site with one form on it. The honest version of a privacy policy for a site like this is short.

What is collected

One thing: the email address you type into the build log form, if you type one in. It is stored so the log can be sent to you and it is used for that and nothing else. It is not sold, rented, traded or handed to an advertising network, and there is no second list it is quietly copied onto.

Every message from the log carries an unsubscribe link. Using it removes the address. You can also write to hello@amigurumiaddict.com and ask, and I will remove it by hand and tell you it is gone.

What is not collected

There is no analytics script on this site. No Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta pixel, no heatmap, no session recorder. No advertising network is loaded, so no advertising cookie is set by this site.

There is no account system, so there is no password to lose and no profile to build. Nothing you read here is tied to you.

What the server sees anyway

The web host keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser string — as every web server does. They are used to keep the site up and to spot abuse, and they are not joined to the build log list.

Fonts and other outside requests

Two typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com when a page opens. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No other outside service is contacted by any page on this site.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children and the build log is not for anyone under sixteen. If an address belonging to a child has ended up on the list, write and it will be removed the same day.
